The Fix Is In on Trump
Indicted for speech that the Democrats have done exactly the same way for years...and never charged or chastised...ever!
Here is a representative list of times the DEMOCRATS have challenged election results since 2000, screaming and shouting, yet have never been indicted or even chastised for doing so! WHY NOW for Trump???
2000 Presidential Election: While Republicans initiated the most prominent challenge in this election, the Democrats also raised concerns about the recount process and the accuracy of the vote in Florida. The Supreme Court's decision in Bush v. Gore effectively ended the recount efforts and secured the presidency for George W. Bush.
2004 Washington Gubernatorial Election: In Washington state, Democrat Christine Gregoire challenged the election results when she lost the initial count to Republican Dino Rossi. After a recount, Gregoire won by a narrow margin of 129 votes. The legal challenge did not result in significant consequences for either party.
2014 Alaska Senate Election: In this election, Democrat Mark Begich challenged the results after losing to Republican Dan Sullivan. The challenge revolved around handling absentee ballots, but the legal process concluded without overturning the election result.
2016 North Carolina Governor Election: In North Carolina, Democrat Roy Cooper challenged the results after losing the gubernatorial race to incumbent Republican Pat McCrory. The challenge was centered around alleged voter irregularities. After a recount, Cooper's victory was confirmed.
2018 Georgia Gubernatorial Election: Democrat Stacey Abrams challenged the election results, claiming voter suppression and irregularities in her loss to Republican Brian Kemp. Despite not conceding, Abrams' challenge did not change the outcome of the election.
2020 Iowa 2nd Congressional District Election: Democrat Rita Hart challenged the results of her closely contested race against Republican Mariannette Miller-Meeks. Hart's challenge was based on concerns over uncounted ballots and errors in the vote count. However, the House Administration Committee ultimately dismissed her challenge.
2008 Minnesota Senate Election: Democrat Al Franken challenged the results of the election against incumbent Republican Norm Coleman. After a lengthy legal battle and a recount, Franken was declared the winner by a narrow margin and ultimately took office.
2010 New York 23rd Congressional District Election: Democrat Bill Owens challenged the special election results against Conservative Party candidate Doug Hoffman and Republican Dede Scozzafava. Owens' challenge did not result in the overturning of the election, and he was certified as the winner.
2016 Nevada 3rd Congressional District Election: Democrat Jacky Rosen challenged the results of the election against incumbent Republican Joe Heck. Rosen's challenge was related to alleged discrepancies in the vote count, but it did not change the outcome, and Heck remained the winner.
2018 Florida Agriculture Commissioner Election: Democrat Nikki Fried challenged the results of her race against Republican Matt Caldwell. The challenge was related to potential issues with ballot counting, but Fried's victory was confirmed after a recount.
2020 Kentucky 2nd Congressional District Election: Democrat Amy McGrath challenged the results of her race against incumbent Republican Andy Barr. The challenge was based on concerns about absentee ballots, but the results were upheld, and Barr retained his seat.
2020 New York 22nd Congressional District Election: Democrat Anthony Brindisi challenged the results of the election against Republican Claudia Tenney. The legal battle focused on ballot counting errors, but the outcome was not changed, and Tenney was certified as the winner.
2020 Iowa 1st Congressional District Election: Democrat Rita Hart challenged the results of the election against Republican Mariannette Miller-Meeks. The challenge focused on a small number of ballots, but the House Administration Committee ultimately dismissed the challenge, upholding Miller-Meeks' victory.
